Smith Family | Summer Beach Family Session | Gulf Shores, AL

Beach portraits will forever be a favorite of mine. Growing up in Mobile, I had many opportunities to visit the very beach that these portraits were taken. Not only is the beach an extremely therapeutic place for me, but the white sand, blue water and beautiful sunsets make my photographer heart SO happy.

Fun background story on this particular session, I met Lacee (mom) on a photographer retreat. She lives in Oklahoma and after the retreat, I received a message from her that her family was visiting the beaches of Alabama in June and inquired about a session with me while they were there. I am SO grateful it worked out because um, wow, do you see this beautiful mama and her family?! These are easily some of my favorite beach images and the story behind it makes it even sweeter.
